Imojean Ricketts, age 92, of Spruce Pine, passed away on Wednesday, January 28, 2026, at her residence.
Jean was a strong and devout Christian lady who loved Jesus above all and all things. She loved her family and lived to serve those around her. A light to everyone who knew and loved her. She is loved beyond measure and will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Ricketts; son, Matthew Hugh McGee Sr, Hoyt Douglas McGee; parents, Lonnie & Maggie (Hall) Kimbrough; and sisters and brothers.
She leaves to cherish her memories, her daughter, Nancy Ann McGee; grandchildren, Patrick McGee (wife, Carah), Matthew McGee Jr., Crystal McGee; great-grandchildren, Whitten McGee, Gavin McGee; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Friday, January 30, 2026, at Oak Grove Cemetery in Russellville. Brother Delmer Duboise will speak at the service.
