Imogene Kirby Fagan – Obituary

Funeral service for Imogene Kirby Fagan, age 81, of Trinity, will be Saturday, July 26, 2014, 3:00 p.m. at Flat Creek Baptist Church with Danny Fuller, David Terry, and Bobby G. Robinson officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday, July 25, 2014, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in Flat Creek Cemetery.

Mrs. Fagan, who died Wednesday, July 23, 2014, at her residence, was born August 27, 1932, in Lawrence County, to William McKinley Kirby and Edna Dunn Kirby. She was preceded in death by her husband, Shelly Clark Fagan, one great-grandson, Blaise Fagan Odom, one son-in-law, Pete Longshore, and 10 siblings.

She is survived by three daughters, Shelby Longshore of Trinity, Rheta Terry (Jimmy) of Trinity, and Nita Valdiviezo (Isidro) of Hillsboro; one brother, Glen Kirby of Nashville, TN; one sister, Mavene Allen of Trinity; five grandchildren, Renita Terry, Myra Terry, Leah Odom, Isabella Valdiviezo, and Noella Valdiviezo; and five great-grandchildren, Ana Alvarado, Roanin Odom, Gage West, Mari Alvarado, and Shelly Terry.

Pallbearers will be Phillip Hester, Phil Terry, Jeff Britnell, Wayne Terry, Chris Britnell, and Jackson Terry.

The family would like to express their special thanks to Dr. Becdach, Clearview Cancer Center, and Dr. Emily McClure.
