Funeral service for Ima Boger Hughes, 93, will be Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Stephen Cannon and Bro. Greg Burcham officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Herring Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 27, 2016 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mrs. Hughes died on Sunday, April 24, 2016 at Summerford Nursing Home. She was born July 30, 1922, in Morgan County to Homer Boger and Lola (Tidwell) Boger. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Falkville, and was a cook for the Summerford Nursing Home, prior to retirement. She was preceded in death by her husband: Solon M. Hughes and a sister: Jean Knox Mooney.
