Ila Faye Whitten, age 81 of Phil Campbell, Alabama passed away November 7, 2021 at Russellville Hospital. She was a member of Mountain View Baptist Church.
Visitation will be Tuesday, November 9, 2021 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Mountain View Baptist Church, Phil Campbell, Alabama. The funeral service will be Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at the church with Sammy Taylor officiating. Burial will follow in Mountain View Cemetery.
Ms. Whitten is survived by her children, Gilford (Geneva) Whitten, Carolyn (Robert) Johnson, Judy (Benji) Hallman, Karon McLemore, Richard (Kim) Whitten, Rickey (Tamla) Whitten; brothers, Wayne (Renea) Barton, Rudolph (Pat) Barton and Travis Barton; sister, Ida Whitten; grandchildren, Adam Whitten, Robert Whitten, James McLemore, Darryl Hallman, B.J. Hallman, Tonya Pate, Heather Sibley, Morgan Graham, Brent Whitten, Brady Whitten and Blake Whitten; and great grandchildren, Zane Whitten, Krestin Whitten, Kamron Whitten, Ryker Lee Whitten, Sean Hallman, Angela Hallman, Kylie Hallman, Clay Hallman, Ben Hess, Lilly Pate, Tanner Pate, Ryleigh McLemore, Kendalyn Woods, Ryker Wood, Anna Brooke Sibley, Jayden Whitten and Ross Whitten.
She is preceded in death by her father, William Gilford Barton; mother, Elafair Barton; brothers, Thurlow Barton, Otho Barton and Bobby Barton; sisters in law, Juda Barton and Jeannette Barton; and great granddaughter, Molly-Ann Whitten.
