Funeral services for Ikey Havener, age 85, are scheduled for 11 AM, Friday, November 22, 2013 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home with Bro. Terry Rhodes and Bro. Mark McCaslin officiating. Interment will follow in Lexington Cemetery. Mr. Havener passed away early Thursday at his home. He was born March 28, 1928 in Henderson County to the late A. W. “Bill” and Alice Smith Havener. He was a retired owner of Havener Grocery and a member of Shady Grove Methodist Church. Survivors include his wife of 43 years, Mrs. Nadine Jowers Havener of Lexington; his son, Johnny (Leora) Cagle of Lexington; five daughters, Sandra (Dennis) Kizer of Franklin, Kim (Steve) Corlew, Penny(Vern) Faulkner, and Cathy Cagle of Lexington, and Sherry (John) Weaver of Jackson; his brother, Billy Joe Havener of Lexington; two sisters, Imogene Yates and Betty (Joe) Overman of Lexington; nine grandchildren, Matt Kizer, Mitch Kizer, Patsy Powers, Stephanie Cody, Anthony Faulkner, Katie Cagle, Miles Faulkner, Johnathan Weaver, and Suzie Cagle; and seven great grandchildren.
