Ida Louise Vest Caldwell, of Jasper, formerly of Cordova, passed away on Sunday June 1, 2025 at the age of 98.
The family will receive friends on June 6, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. on June 6, 2025 in the Collins-Burke Chapel with burial at Walker Memory Gardens. Carl Uptain, Ronnie Woodard and Jason Woodard will officiate, Collins-Burke Funeral Home will direct.
Mrs. Caldwell was preceded in death by her Husband of 61 years, Cleo Caldwell. Louise and Cleo first met while working at the Textile Mill in Cordova; Daughter-Shelia Williams; Son-Eddie Caldwell; Grandson-Justin Williams; Parents-Gilbert and Valcie Vest; Sister-Marie Birchem; Brothers-Buddy Vest, Jerry Vest, Lee Vest and Bobby Vest.
She is survived by Sister-Leatha Chandler; Daughter-Phyllis Woodard and husband Ronnie Woodard; Son-Dennis Caldwell; Grandsons-Nathan Woodard and wife Serena, Jason Woodard and wife Nicole; Granddaughter-Jennifer Blalock and husband Jason; Great Grandsons-Dakota Woodard, Aiden Woodard, Noah Woodard and Jackson Woodard; Great Granddaughters-Hayley Blalock, Kaitlin Blalock, Lacey Woodard and Juliet Woodard.
