Hyacinthe Louise “Hy-C” Boyd Edwards, age 44 of Arley, passed away February 4, 2025 at her residence. Hy-C was known for her fun loving and energetic personality. She was the epitome of a true ‘Red-Head’. She loved solar lights, fireflies, and watching lightning bugs. Hy-C loved to dance and was a professional dance instructor in Jefferson County (Vestavia and Hoover, Alabama). Visitation will be Sunday, February 9, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Bethel Baptist Church in Arley, where the service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Brother Mark Ragsdale and Brother Mike Tidwell will officiate. Hy-C was survived by her husband, Jamie Edwards; parents Roy and Hope Boyd; and brother, Gabriel Grant Boyd.
