DECATUR-A two-vehicle accident occurred on Wednesday, September 26 that took the life of a Huntsville man. Laurence Thompson, 54 died at the scene.
The accident between a 2007 Hundai Elantra driven by Thompson lost control and collided with a 2001 Chevrolet Impala driven by Margie Dean, 74 of Huntsville. The accident was just west of the Wheeler National Wildlife Refuge headquarters.
