WALKER COUNTY-The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency reports a single-vehicle accident has occurred in Walker County that has taken the life of a Huntsville man:
“A single-vehicle crash that occurred at approximately 2:45 p.m. Tuesday, July 22, has claimed the life of a Huntsville man.
Joshua K. Leblanc, 29, was fatally injured when the 2021 Tesla Model 3 he was driving left the roadway, struck a guardrail, several trees and then caught fire. Leblanc’s body was transported to the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences (ADFS), where his identity was later confirmed.
The crash occurred on Hill Road near Drummond Switch Cut Off Road, approximately two miles south of Empire, in Walker County.
Nothing further is available as Troopers with the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency’s (ALEA) Highway Patrol Division continue to investigate.”
