ASA Youth Academy - Alabama Soccer Association  DECATUR-The city of Decatur will welcome hundreds of youth soccer players and their families from across the state of Alabama next month as they compete in the Alabama Soccer Association (ASA) Division I and II State Cup Final Four tournaments.

The Division I tournament is a top level qualifying event for 13U and 14U (boys and girls) age groups. Winners advance to regional tournaments where an invitation to the US Youth Soccer National Championships – the crown jewel of competitive youth soccer – is on the line.

The ASA Division II State Cup Tournament is intended to provide teams a high level of competition for teams in 12U and 13U (boys and girls) age groups. The tournament decides which teams are Division II state champions and will represent Alabama in the USYSA Region III President’s Cup.

Both tournaments are set for May 7-9, 2021, at the Jack Allen Recreation Complex. There is no admission or parking charges for the event.

ASA is the governing body for all soccer clubs in Alabama who qualify to participate in these events under US Youth Soccer. For more information on the State Cup tournament, visit the ASA’s website at www.alsoccer.org.
