Hulet Moses Hulet Anderson Moses, 92, of Fort Payne, passed away Saturday, January 4, 2025 at his home. He was born June 23, 1932 to the late Luther Lee Moses and Julia Haas Moses. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. Mr. Moses was a retired, gifted carpenter and cabinet maker and spent 31 years with the United States Postal Service. His most recent accolade was being the caregiver of his wife of 67 years. He attended Oak Hill Baptist Church. He was a man of strong work ethic and took pride in taking care of his family and others.

Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Perry Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Fischer Cemetery with military honors. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6 until 8 p.m.

He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Joan Moses; children Roger Moses, Lesia Cowart (Steve), Randy Moses (Tia), and Kay Gray (Michael); grandchildren Luke Moses, Whitney Culpepper (Ben), Harper Moses, Dalton Gray, and Lillie Moses; and great-granddaughter Ellie Culpepper.

He was preceded in death by his siblings Orville Moses, Buddy Moses, Mary Etta Smith, Tient Sparks, Mildred Moses, Nancy Lou Moses, and several infant siblings.

Wilson Funeral Home and Crematory of Fort Payne is in charge of arrangements.
