Hugh Roy Edgar, 75, of Russellville, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, March 15, 2016, at Russellville Hospital.
Mr. Edgar was a lifelong resident of Franklin County and a member of the Baptist Church. He was retired from NTN Bower.
The funeral service will be held on Friday, March 18, 2016, at 1:00 p.m., at Pinkard Funeral Home Chapel, Russellville, with burial in Edgar Chapel Cemetery, Phil Campbell. Officiating will be Wayne Overton. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, March 17, 2016, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Survivors include children, Pam Jordan (Benny), Lisa Weeks, (Carl) and Gary Edgar (Carylon); sister, Freida Fowler; brother, Junior Edgar; eight grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Bobbie Nell Edgar; parents, Phil and Lula Bell Edgar; brother, Ray Edgar.
