Hugh Porter Pilkinton, age 86, of Ethridge, Tennessee, formerly of Florence, passed away Oct. 19, 2016. A graveside service will be held Saturday, Oct. 22, 2016, at 1 p.m. at Lawrence County Memory Gardens, Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, with Brothers Kenneth Davis and Bill Bagents officiating.
Mr. Pilkinton was a member of Mars Hill Church of Christ. He was retired from TVA and was a U.S. Army veteran, having served in the Korean War. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha; and son, Greg. Survivors include his son, Mark Pilkinton and wife, Jennifer; and grandchildren, Jenna and Josie.
