Hugh Darrell Taylor age 50 of Athens, passed away on Monday, September 1, 2014 at home after a tough courageous fight with brain cancer. He was born November 27, 1963 in Columbia, SC to Willie Hugh Taylor and Alma Elizabeth Nelson Taylor.
Services for Mr. Taylor are Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home at 3:30 p.m. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 3, 2014 from 1:00 until 3:15 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Limestone Memorial Gardens.
He is survived by his wife of 28 years Denise Taylor; children, Brian Taylor, Will Taylor and Madelyn Taylor; mother, Alma Elizabeth Taylor; brothers, Leonard Dale Jackson and wife Karen; William Dane Taylor.
He is preceded in death by his father, Willie Hugh Taylor.
Pallbearers are Brian Taylor, Will Taylor, Dane Taylor, Dale Jackson, Wayman Daniels and Neal Perry.
