Howard W. Thompson, Jr, age 61 of Beechgrove formally of Smyrna passed away Sunday September 27, 2026. He was a native of Smyrna and was preceded in death by parents, Howard Wesley Thompson, Sr. and Annie Laurie Thompson.
Mr. Thompson was a strong believer in Jesus Christ and was working for FedEx as a driver. He was devoted husband, and father and enjoyed Coaching little league and softball while his children played.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Cindy Hood Thompson, children, Wesley Thompson, Sadie Thompson, Ashley Thompson Bassel and Jacob, Sadie Thompson and fiancé Victor Woods, Natalie Thompson; grandchild on the way Oakley.
