Mr. Howard “Pee Wee” Leslie Gaines, Jr., age 57, a resident of Summertown, passed away Monday morning, December 18, 2017 at his residence.
Born on February 6, 1960 in Alabama, Pee Wee was the son of the late Howard Leslie Gaines, Sr. and the late Mary Louise Medford Gaines. He previously worked installing aluminum and vinyl siding. Pee Wee enjoyed tinkering with stuff and fixing things, as well as watching old westerns.
He is survived by his four legged child: Buck; children: Roy Mack Caperton, Jr., Danny Neal Caperton and Holly Daniels all of Lawrenceburg; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters: Ann Chunn, Mattie Shepherd; and brother: Bobby Gaines.
Heritage Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
