Mr. Howard Luther Holmes, age 64, of Cullman, Alabama passed away on Thursday, January 25, 2024. Howard was born June 7, 1959 to Gradus C. Holmes and Mary M. Holmes. He was most notable for his love of fishing and devotion to his church and faith in the Lord. Howard is preceded in death by his mother Mary M. Holmes, father Gradus C. Holmes, and brothers Ray, Ugene and J.W. Holmes. He is survived by his sisters Memie Day, Christine Miller, Debby Sterlin, Penny Haynes, and Beddy Early.
A celebration of life visitation for Howard will be held Sunday, January 28, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Moss-Service Funeral Home, 1901 2nd Avenue, N.W., Cullman, Alabama 35055. A a celebration of life funeral service will occur Monday, January 29, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 1901 2nd Ave NW, Cullman, Alabama 35055. An interment will occur Monday, January 29, 2024 at 3:00 PM at Bethsadia Baptist Church Cemetery, 3358-3612 CR-436, Cullman, Alabama 35057.
