Mr. Toungette was a native of Lawrence County, Tenn, retired from the Lawrence County Highway Department, A United States Navy veteran of the Korean Conflict and a member of Mars Hill Baptist Church. Mr. Toungette is survived by: 1 Son – Smitty Toungette and wife Kay of Loretto, Tenn; 2 Sisiters – Janice Hayes of Oklahoma, and Betty Phillips of Sparta, Tenn; 1 Granddaughter – Misty Holloway and husband Jason of Westpoint, Tenn; 1 Great Granddaughter – Abby Holloway; several nieces and nephews also survive. Gary Hughes will be officiating the funeral service. Burial will follow in the Old Ethridge Cemetery.
