Howard Hugh Elkins, age 78, Haleyville, AL. passed away Tuesday July 15, 2014 at his home.
He was a business owner, a member of Rotary club, Jaycees club, Lions club, Al. mobile home board of directors and a member of First Baptist Church, Haleyville, Al.
Visitation is Friday, July 18, 2014 from 8:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. at First Baptist Church, Haleyville, Al. Funeral Service at 10:00 a.m. at the church with Dr. Jim Cooley officiating. Graveside Service at 4:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church, Eupora, Ms. with burial following at Webster Memorial Gardens, Eupora, Ms.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Elkins; children, Steve(wife Janet)Elkins, Karen(husband Dale)Powers, Mike(wife, Millie)Elkins, Lisa(husband Darrell)Daigre; brothers, Duwayne (wife Ginger) Pittman, Robert Pittman; sister, Sherry Pittman (husband Dan) Moreland; grandchildren, Amanda Elkins, Tyler Elkins, Sara Powers Jones, Drew Elkins, Claire Daigre Beard, Taylor Daigre, Parker Daigre, Kate Powers Rosamond, Lauren Elkins Kitchens; 5 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John Henry Elkins and Christine Morgan Elkins Pittman;
brothers, Johnny, James and Jerry Elkins, M.H. Pittman and Buddy Pittman.
