Howard Frank “Frank” Miller, age 78 of Belfast, Tennessee, departed for his heavenly home on December 17, 2025, surrounded by his loving wife and two children. He was born February 7, 1947, to the late Robert and Catherine Miller.
Frank was a man who found his greatest joy in the simple pleasures of life. An avid hunter and fisherman, he had a deep connection to the land and took pride in living off its bounty–whether it was deer he harvested, fish he caught, or beef from the cattle he raised. His love for the outdoors was matched only by his love for his family.
Together with his brother John, Frank built their family farms in the Belfast community within steps of the home place where their parents raised them. Frank believed deeply in the value of farmland–not only for the food it provided, but for its beauty and the peace it brought him. There was nothing he cherished more than watching a sunset while deer grazed in the hayfield behind his house. This land will be a legacy he leaves to his children to protect against development, preserving the beauty and tranquility he held so dear.
For 18 years, Frank dedicated himself to his work at Inner City Products where he not only built a career, but also found the love of his life. It was there he met Bobbie who would become his devoted wife. Together they shared 30 wonderful years filled with adventures on the lake, cherished time with family, and a love that grew stronger with each passing day.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Robert and Catherine Miller; his stepson Avery Crosslin; daughter-in-law Pam Crosslin and his brother-in-law Terry Lowe.
Frank is survived by his beloved wife of 30 years, Bobbie Miller, his son, Josh Miller, and his daughter, Kelly Miller Bauman; three granddaughters, Brooks Bauman, Megan (Zach) Smith and Kelsey (Todd) Qualls; three great granddaughters who brought him immense joy; sister Brenda Miller Lowe; brother John Miller; nephew Mike Arnold.
Frank’s legacy lives on in the memories of days spent on the water, stories shared around the dinner table, the land he loved and protected, and the values of hard work and simple living he passed down to those he loved.
