Howard “Earl” Townsend, passed away Oct. 18, 2012, at age 62. He was the loving husband of Kathy Townsend; father of Ashley Townsend Jackson and Case Townsend; grandfather of Hope Jennings. He is survived by sisters; Linda Alderson and Becky Townsend of Columbia, Tenn. He is preceded in death by his parents, Hestel H. and Mary M. Bailey Townsend; brother, Phillip Townsend; and daughter, Caroline Townsend. He finally lost his long battle with cancer. He retired, due to disability, from Mid South Extrusion Die. He was a member of Woodmont Baptist Church. Family will receive friends at Morrison’s Funeral Home, Tuscubia, on SAturday, Oct. 19 from 1-4. A memorial service will be held at Puncheon Church Minor Hill Tenn. at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please send all donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital .
