Houston “Freddie” Rogers, 88 of Arab, Alabama, passed away Monday, January 8th, 2024.
Mr. Rogers is survived by his wife; Betty Rogers, sons; Freddie Rogers, and John Rogers (Tina), daughter; Beth Holland (Homer), grandchildren; Amanda Hayes (Tray), Travis Holland, Tyler Rogers (Tiffany), and Clayton Rogers, great-grandchildren; Sam Hayes, John Hayes, Tatum Rogers, and Turner Rogers, sister; Bonnie Pittman, and brother; Jerry Rogers (Diane), as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
Fred was preceded by his parents; G.W. Rogers and Beedie Fuller, siblings; Geraldine Hamaker and Gwen Kauffman.
Mr. Rogers is a U.S. Veteran where he served his country in the Navy. He was a loyal and dedicated Alabama Football fan and enjoyed watching NASCAR. Though he will be remebered for many things, Fred will mostly be remebered as a wonderful and loving husband, father, and grandfather.
Visitation will be held Thursday, January 11th, 2024 at Berryhill Funeral Home from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Funeral service will follow in the chapel at 2:00 PM. Burial will follow at Maple Hill Cemetery.
