Mr. Horst Guntharp Linnemann, age 70, of Decatur, died Thursday, May 27, 2021, at his residence. Shelton Funeral Home is assisting his family with arrangements; no service is scheduled at this time.
Mr. Linnemann was born January 21, 1951, in Germany, to Heinz Linnemann, Sr. and Anna Lisa Neuweld Linnemann. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Heinz Linnemann, Jr., and one sister, Christine Riley.
He is survived by his wife, Yvonne Pounds of Decatur; stepdaughter, Consuella Washington of Decatur; and step-granddaughter, Anaisse Pirant of Decatur.
