Homer James Moss, age 83, died Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2015. Visitation will be Friday, Nov. 20 from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Spry-Williams Funeral Home, of Florence. The service will follow at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel, with Brother Todd Oldham officiating. Burial will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.
He was retired from Reynolds Metals, a member of Teamsters Local No. 402 of Muscle Shoals and was a U.S. Air Force veteran having served in the Korean War.
He was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Julie Askew Thompson.
Survivors are his wife, Carolyn Moss; children, Ronnie Moss (Debbie), Linda Askew (Lyle), Mike Moss (Tammy), Donna Lewis (Jay) and Brian Moss (Cathy); grandchildren, Aaron Moss, David Askew, Jennifer de Leon, Kyle Moss, Melissa Moore, Tanner Moss and Brianna Moss; and 13 great-grandchildren.
