Watson-North Funeral Home is honored to be of service and ministry to the family of Mr. Hollis Reed, age 80, of Decherd, TN. Mr. Reed was employed by the City of Decherd for 32 years. He was a simple man that enjoyed life, loved his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He will be remembered for being a hard worker, a devoted husband, father and grandfather. His friends will remember him as being a “good friend”. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Christine Reed; daughter, Kathy and her husband Michael Nace of Unionville, TN; son, Charlie and his wife Kelly Reed of Decherd; grandson, Tony and his wife Hayley Reed of Broadview, TN.; granddaughter, Katie and her husband T.J. Fraley of Decherd; grandsons, Travis Pack, Trevor Givens and Jaydon Reed; granddaughter, Alexis Reed; great granddaughters, Sawyer Reed and Leena Fraley; sister, Dorothy Allen; brothers, Loyd and James Reed. He also leaves to cherish his memory, a devoted special friend, Bedford Graves. He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Bessie Nell Reed; brothers, Grandville, Tom and Charles Reed; sisters, Marveline Hardison and Alene Weddington. Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 26, 2017 from 3-8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be conducted from the Roy B. Watson Chapel on Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. with John Partin, Jr. officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Garner Cemetery in Decherd. Pallbearers will be served by friends and family.
