Hollis Ray Whitehead, 69, of Summertown, TN, passed away on September 21, 2023, in Pulaski, TN. He was born on February 19, 1954, in Summertown, TN.
Hollis was a loving and caring individual who had a passion for fishing, taking care of his yard, and working. He enjoyed spending his free time pursuing these interests that brought him joy and relaxation.
He is survived by his daughters, Rebecca McNeal and Racheal Whitehead, along with 16 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Hollis also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews who will cherish his memory.
Hollis was preceded in death by his parents, E.R. Whitehead and Josephine Whitehead, as well as his sisters, Jean Whitehead, Kathy White, and Vernie Whitehead. He was also preceded in death by his children, Amanda Whitehead and Hollis Junior Whitehead.
Before his retirement, Hollis had a fulfilling career at Hughes and Parker. His dedication and hard work were evident throughout his professional life.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. Bennett-May & Pierce Funeral Home will be assisting the family.
Hollis Ray Whitehead will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
