Hiram Wyma Carol Casteel of Mt. Juliet, TN was born August 8, 1935 in Waynesboro, TN, the son of the late Ernest Boyd and Corrinne Hurst Casteel. He was united in marriage to the former Marjorie Turnbo on November 9, 1956.
Mr. Casteel was a quality control field engineer with John H. Harland Company and had previously worked at Genesco in Waynesboro, TN and Bellanger Printing Co. in Florence, AL. He was a member of the The Church at Pleasant Grove in Mt. Juliet, Tennessee and Joppa Lodge #411 F&AM.
Mr. Casteel departed this life on Monday, February 1, 2021 at his home at the age of 85 Years, 5 Months, 24 Days.
He is survived by his wife, Marjorie T. Casteel of Mount Juliet, TN; a son, Michael K. Casteel and wife, Lori of Old Hickory, TN; grandchildren, Reagan and Emmett Casteel and a sister, Beverly Casteel Gansert of Hohenwald, TN.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Casteel was preceded in death by a brother, Wendell Hurst Casteel and a sister, Ernestine (Casteel) Kelly.
Due to Covid-19, there will be a private family graveside service.
