Hilton O’Neal Jones, Sr., 81, of Florence, passed away at his home on May 1, 2018. A graveside service will be held today, May 3rd at 10 a.m. at Mount Olive Cemetery in Waterloo.
He was a simple man who loved fishing.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Odell and Vylona Jones; brother, Clarence Wesley Jones; sister, Mavis Jones; and granddaughter, Stephanie Jones.
He is survived by his sons, Hilton Jones, Jr. of Florence and Stephen Jones of Dublin, Texas; grandchildren, Corey and Chance Jones and Crystal Sanders; great-grandchildren, Aden and Alissa Jones; sisters, Maudine Heath of Boone, North Carolina, Jimmie Sutton and Mae Jones of Florence, Louise Jones of Tuscumbia; and several nieces and nephews.
