Hillman Minor McWhorter, 67, of Huntsville, passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2020. Mr. McWhorter was a member of Whitesburg Baptist Church and an avid Alabama fan. He loved people and never meet a stranger. He also loved the outdoors and playing golf.
Survivors include wife, Mary Ann McWhorter; sons, Miles J. McWhorter of Pomona, KS, and Sean Robert McWhorter of Tucson, AZ; grandson, Connor McWhorter of Ottawa, KS; two sisters-in-law and their spouses; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hillman and Elizabeth McWhorter and brothers, Allen McWhorter and James Keith McWhorter.
Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 27th, at Whitesburg Baptist Church South Campus fellowship hall. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Dr. Darryl Craft, Dr. Jimmy Jackson and Rev. Emerson Lyle officiating. Burial will be in Maple Hill Cemetery.
