Funeral service for Hilda Jo Carpenter, 76, will be Thursday, June 20, 2019 at 11:00 AM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Ralph Henderson officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Friendship Cemetery (South of Danville). Visitation will be Wednesday, June 19, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mrs. Carpenter died on Monday, June 17, 2019 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. She was born October 5, 1942, in Morgan County to Rufus Mitchell Poole and Iva Legg Poole. Mrs. Carpenter worked as a psychiatric aide-3 for the Lurleen B. Wallace Center, prior to her retirement. She was a loving mother and grandmother. Preceding her in death were her husband: William Buddy Carpenter, her parents and a brother: Don R. Poole.
