Hilda Jane Golden Tillman, age 77 of Boaz passed away Monday, February 7, 2022 at her home.
Hilda Tillman was an employee at H. D. Lee for many years. Later in life, she was an employee at Boaz Police Dept. as a dispatcher and jailer for two years. She wanted to improve her life and went to college at Gadsden State and got her diploma in Business. She went to work for Holiday Inn of Gadsden for four years. The she went to work for Independent Life for about ten years.
There will be a memorial service at 1 p.m. Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Albertville Memorial Chapel. The family will receive friends from 12 until 1 before the service.
She is survived by her children; Jeffrey Delynn Tillman, Jimmy Wayne Tillman (Suzi), Gerald Lee Tillman (Sharon), Steven Alan Tillman (Lora), and Regina Darlene Tillman Williams (Thomas Earl), grandchildren; Brandy Leah Rowland Feemster (Josh), Dustin Matthew Rowland, Sheena Delynn Tillman Hall (Oliver, III), Jeffrey Danile Tillman, Arthur Jacob Tillman, Hanna Tillman and Sophie Tillman, great-grandchildren; Lacy Michelle Tillman Hall, Savannah Grace Hall, Seth Martin Hall, Hanna LoraLynn Hall, Joshua Feemster and Jack Feemster, sister; Helen Colvin, mother-in-law; Margret Odell Tillman, brother-in-law; Robert Michael Tillman and sisters-in-law; Abra Ledbetter and Beverly Magill (Dwight).
She is preceded in death by her husband; Jerry Lee Tillman, parents; Ottis and Lora May Golden, brother; Donald Franklin Golden, sisters; Betty Malone and Debrah Golden and great-granddaughter; Cheyenne Nicole Bishop.
