Hilda Grace (McPeake) Anderson, age 82 of Winchester, passed away on Sunday, September 27, 2026, at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Lexington, Tennessee on October 4, 1943, to the late James G. and Aillene (Hooper) McPeake. Since her retirement, Hilda enjoyed fishing and eating out, as well as watching old western movies. But most of all, she cherished the time with her beloved family. A Christian, she was of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her stepdaughter, Amy Anderson. Hilda is survived by her loving and devoted husband of forty-five years, Harold O. Anderson; daughter, Angela Scott; stepsons, Mark (Ann) Anderson and Dan Anderson; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and several nieces, nephews, and other family members.
