Hershell N. Henry was born April 7, 1945 in McNairy County, TN the son of the late Arnold and Rosie Lee Patterson Henry.
He was united in marriage to Shelia Plunk on April 22, 1967.
Mr. Henry worked in lawn maintenance, but his favorite activity was spending time with family and friends, whom he loved very much. He was a member of Mt. Carmel Baptist Church and was presently attending Forty Forks Baptist Church.
Mr. Henry departed this life on October 9, 2013 in Bethel Springs, Tennessee at the age of 68 Years, 6 Months, 2 Days. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Shelia (Plunk) Henry of Bethel Springs, TN; a son, James Darryl Henry of Bethel Springs, TN; two grandchildren, Sydney Nicole Henry and Derrick Christopher Henry; two sisters, Marie Rudd and husband Lee and Catherine Warren, all of Bethel Springs, TN; three aunts: Donna Long of Ramer, TN; Barbara Day and Ivalee Blagg, both of Illinois; and many extended family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Henry was preceded in death by a daughter, Deborah Dianne Henry; a son, Christopher Michael Henry; a sister, Maggie Faye Newton; and a brother, Clarence James Henry.
