Hershel “Bill” Hall

Hershel “Bill” Hall went to be with the Lord and join his life-long love, Delores Jean Hall, on Monday, February 15, 2021. He was born March 12, 1932, to Bob Mirl and Lena Bell Walton Hall, and he was the youngest of eleven brothers and sisters.

He was married to Delores Jean George on June 23, 1952. He worked for Chrysler and served in the Army during the Korean War. He was a member of First Assembly of God in Arab, AL, where he served as a Deacon and the head of the senior group there until he was unable to attend due to health issues. He also worked with Outreach Ministries that helped rehabilitate young men and help them overcome addiction. He loved to farm and grow things, as well as being a devoted Husband, Dad, Grandpa, and Great-Grandpa.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Bob and Lena Bell Hall; his ten brothers and sisters; as well as his wife, Jean Hall.

Survivors include his three daughters, Lynn Hall, Shelia David, and Carol Helton; eight grandchildren; and nineteen great-grandchildren.

The Graveside Service will be at United Methodist Church in Fairview, AL, at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 20, 2021, with Brother Austin Ball officiating.

Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
