Herman Phillip “Phil” Harris, 77, of Albertville, was surrounded by the love of his family when he was called home to his Lord and Savior on Sunday morning, November 22, 2020. Phil was a kind and generous soul and will always be remembered warmly by the many countless lives he touched along the way.
He dedicated his life to his Christian faith and to the examples set forth in the Holy Bible. Phil was a wonderful and caring family man, always first to volunteer a helping hand to those in need. A proud military veteran, he served his country bravely in the Air Force during the Vietnam War. Phil was a highly skilled handyman that could literally fix anything. He enjoyed a long and prosperous career working with the Fluor Corporation as a Site Superintendent and Electrical Engineer, where he made many lifelong friends. In retirement, he loved making plans and spending precious time with his children and grandchildren, as well as fishing, camping and fixing things in his beloved workshop. His family is so very grateful for his contributions to our lives and for the love and memories that we carry with us in his absence.
His love is forever.
