Funeral service for Herman Oden, 90, will be Thursday, June 27, 2019 at 5:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tom Salter officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Johnson Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, June 27, 2019 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mr. Oden died on Sunday, June 23, 2019 at his residence. He was born November 6, 1928, in Marshall County to William Oden and Bessie Mae Hallmark Sandlin. He was employed by Fruehauf as a pressworker and laborer, prior to his retirement. He was a member of Johnson Chapel United Methodist Church. Preceding him in death were his wife: Virginia Sue Hensley Oden, his parents and a sister: Dorothy Turner.
