Funeral service for Herman Gibson age 86 of Falkville will be Monday, August 24, 2015 at 3:00pm at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Stanley Ryan officiating with burial in the Burningtree Cemetery with Peck Funeral Home directing. Visitation will be from 1:00pm until service time on Monday at the funeral home.
Mr. Gibson, who died on Friday, August 21, 2015 at his home, was born on October 30, 1929 in Morgan County to Elton Clellie Gibson and Dollie Kilpatrick Gibson. He retired from The Copeland Corporation and was a member of the Falkville Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Adelle Harrison Gibson, a daughter; Gail Gibson Howard (Wayne) of Hartselle, a son; Sherrill Lavon Gibson of Falkville, a brother; William Howard Gibson (Helen) of Priceville, 4 Grandchildren; Melina Howard Stafford, Tracy Randolph, Jonathan Henderson and Sonya Gibson.
