Herbert Roy Walton, age 88 of Oakman, passed away on Thursday, January 28, 2021 at his residence. He was an elder of the church for 50 years.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 31, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Parrish Church of Christ, funeral services will follow at 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at Friendship Estates. Joey Sparks will officiate.
Mr. Walton was preceded in death by his Father-Lovid Walton; Mother-Louria Will Walton; Daughter-Debbie Walton Woods; Wife-Erma Walton; Sister-Joyce Mullinax.
He is survived by his Sons-Roy Walton, Jr. and Kenneth Walton, Sr.; Sisters-Nancy Pennington and Betty Jane Rutledge; Brothers-Harold Walton and Larry Walton; 10 Grandchildren and 18 Great Grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Jason Walton, Ben Walton, Kenneth Walton, Jr., Matthew Woods, Michael Woods, Winston Woods and Walker Woods.
