Mr. Herbert Oscar Patterson, age 66 of Huntsville, passed away Saturday. He was a native of Huntsville, AL. Mr. Patterson was a member of Woodville Holiness Church.
Mr. Patterson was preceded in death by his wife, Lena K. Patterson; his parents John Sanford and Johnnie Sue Lamb Patterson; his brother Roy Patterson; and his sisters, Katherine Patterson George and Marie Patterson Wright.
Mr. Patterson is survived by his two sons Herbie Ralph Patterson, and wife Leslie of Flintville, TN and Bronson Patterson and wife Kema of Huntsville; his brothers, Morris Patterson of Huntsville, and Harold Patterson of Meridianville; and his granddaughters Karissa Walls and Kambry Patterson of Huntsville, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral services will be on Tuesday March 11th at First Flint River Baptist Church on Mooresville Rd. at 2pm with Paul Higdon officiating. The family will receive friends 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM Monday March 10th and from 12pm until 2pm on Tuesday March 11th at the church. Interment will follow at Flint River Cemetery in Meridianville.
