Herbert E. Cox, 91, of Cherokee, AL, died Tuesday, June 20, 2017, at the Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo, MS. Mr. Cox enjoyed going fishing, mowing his yard, and was a very proud United States Army veteran. Mr. Cox was an avid bingo player also. Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 p.m., Thursday, June 22, at Cutshall Funeral Home Chapel in Iuka. Interment will follow in Mynot Cemetery. Pallbearers include Larry Cox, Terry Cox, Jake Hamm, Kyler Buchanan, and Willie Whitaker. Visitation is scheduled for 12:00 until 3:00 p.m., Thursday, June 22, at Cutshall Funeral Home in Iuka. Cutshall Funeral Home of Iuka, MS is entrusted with arrangements. He is survived by his daughter, Regina Bolin (Larry); his grandchildren, Darryl Bolin and Heather Hardin; and his great grandchildren, Kyler, Will and Tucker. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Cox; his sons, Teddy Cox and Gary Cox; his parents, Arthur and Vertie Cox; and 7 siblings.
