Herbert D. Hall, 91, died Thursday, January 2, 2020 at North Ms. Medical Center Hospice, Tupelo, MS. He was born in Dothan, AL and was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church. He was retired from the U.S. Navy after twenty-one years and served in Korea and Vietnam. He was a Mason for almost seventy years.

Services will be Sunday, January 5, 3:30 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home Chapel, Red Bay, AL with Bro. Jerry Humphries officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery, Golden, MS. Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL will be in charge of arrangements.

Survivors are two sons – Les Hall and Carl Hall (Freda) all of Golden, MS; three grandchildren – Brandon Hall (Mylodi), Paige Cresap (Brian) and Lindsey Hall; four great-grandchildren – Reagan Cresap, Peyton Cresap, Mason Jones and Chloe Hall; three brothers – Jessie Hall, Danny Hall and Gene Hall and a host of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Jean Hall, his parents, Manual D. and Addie Spivey Hall, two sisters, Clyde Hall and Francis Meadows and five brothers, Forbie, Fred, Harvey, Luther and Leon Hall.

Pallbearers will be Carl Hall, Les Hall and Brandon Hall.

Visitation will be Saturday, January 4, 6-9 p.m. at Deaton Funeral Home, Red Bay, AL.
