Herbert Clayton “Clay” Ivey Jr., age 43, of Huntland, Tenn., passed away on Monday, Feb. 4, 2013, at his home. He was born Sept. 7, 1969, in Sheffield, Ala. He worked as a machine operator at Monarch Tile Co. Surviving are father, Herbert Clayton Ivey Sr., of Nashville, Tenn.; mother, Hulda (Cosson) Ivey, of Huntland, Tenn.; sons, Michael Christopher Ivey, of Florence, Ala., Jeremy Clay Ivey, of Florence, Ala., and Daniel Brewer, of Montgomery, Ala.; daughter, Rachel Michelle Brewer, of Muscle Shoals, Ala.; and stepsister, Olivia Silver, of Nashville, Tenn. A funeral service will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday in the Moore-Cortner Chapel with Sister Linda Davis officiating. Graveside services will by 3 p.m. Thursday at Colbert Memorial Gardens, Tuscumbia, Ala..
