Mr. Henry Lloyd Lowery, age 65, of Decatur, Alabama died Saturday at the home of his brother, Roger, in Athens, Alabama. He was born Jan. 6, 1951 in Clanton, Alabama to the Reverend James “Herman” Lowery and Olyce Littlefield Lowery. Henry enjoyed a long-standing career as a musician. He will be remembered for his quick wit and his remarkable musical talent.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 26th, from 6-9 p.m. at Spry Funeral Home, Athens.
He was preceded in death by parents; brothers, James Alexander Lowery, Charles Hoyt Lowery, and Harry Neal Lowery.
He is survived by his daughter, Kerry Amber Lowery, of Athens; sons, Michael Lloyd Lowery, of Union Grove; and Martin Andrew Lowery, of Florence; brother, Roger Gene Lowery, of Athens; sister, Barbara Lowery Russell, of Decatur; grandsons, Adam Senior, Nathan Senior, Titan Lowery, and Gage Hewitt; and granddaughters, Natalia Senior, Makelia Lowery, Makenna Lowery, Dallas Lowery, and Madison Hewitt.
