Henry Lee Weeks, Sr., 63 of Florence, passed away on Thursday, October 1, 2020 at his residence after an extended illness. Mr. Weeks retired from City of Florence, Gas Department.
Visitation will be Monday, October 5, 2020 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Greenview Memorial Chapel. A graveside service will begin at 2:00 p.m. in Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens. Service to be led by Pastor Brian Holden, from the Rock Church, Henry’s church home.
Mr. Weeks was preceded in death by his father, Robert Donald Weeks; mother, Marion Virginia Weeks; brother, Alan Weeks; and niece, Delaney Richie. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Barbara Robinson Weeks; son, Lee Weeks, daughter, Whitney Butler; brother, Paul Weeks, sister, Beverly Baker; grandchildren, Hezekiah , Silas and Jonah Weeks, Bentlee and Tyke Butler, and Beckham Mitchell. Henry enjoyed spending time with his grandkids; he enjoyed muscle cars, Alabama football, fishing, gun shows, and time at the beach.
Pallbearers will be Lee Weeks, Paul Weeks, Thad Weeks, Cody Butler, Jason Hendrix, and Todd Spalding. Honorary pallbearers will be Pat Spalding, Terry Stanfield, and Mike Aldridge.
