Funeral services for Mr. Henry Kolwyck, age 76, are scheduled for 12 PM, Thursday, May 8, 2014 in the chapel of Pafford Funeral Home with Bro. Marty Comer officiating. Interment will follow in Sand Ridge Cemetery. Mr. Kolwyck passed away late Monday in Jackson. He was born October 11, 1937 in Humboldt to the late Alvis and Sadie Lou Thompson Kolwyck. He was a mail contractor for the U. S. Postal Service, a member of Sand Ridge Baptist Church, and a life-long and devoted St. Louis Cardinals fan. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Carolyn Kolwyck and four brothers, Robert, William, Wallace, and Ronald Wayne Kolwyck. Survivors include his son, Johnny S. Sipes of Lexington; his daughter, Lisa Tutor of Lexington; four brothers, Neal Kolwyck of San Jose, CA, Charles Kolwyck of Barstow, CA, J. T. Kolwyck of Roseville, CA, and Glen Kolwyck of Mississippi, two grandchildren, Stephani Davis and John Travis Sipes; and two great grandchildren, Nathaniel and Sarah.
