Henry Eugene Bailey age 52 of Athens, passed away Monday, January 5, 2015 at Huntsville Hospital. Mr. Bailey was born February 22, 1962 in Texas to Hal Bailey and Gudrun Siegrist Bailey.
Services will be Wednesday, January 7, 2015 1:00 p.m., at Sardis Springs Baptist Church with Tim Keenum, Jack Bailey and Barry Faulk officiating. He will lie-in-state from 11:00 am. until 1:00 p.m. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 6, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the church. Burial will be in Sardis Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
Mr. Bailey was a member of Sardis Springs Baptist Church. He owned and operated Henry Bailey Vinyl Siding Company and was a survivalist expert.
Survived by his wife, Lee Ann Bailey of Athens; two daughters, Aimee Lee Bailey and Anna Marie Bailey both of Athens; mother, Gudrun Bailey of Athens; sister, Tina Barbre and husband, Jeff of Athens; two nephews, Alex Barbre and Nick Barbre both of Athens.
Pallbearers will be Charlie Deffenbaugh, Trent Spidel, Ben Pressnell, Paul Wayne King, Matthew Todd, Ross Morris, Brandon Martin and Tim Jones
