Henry Clay Grisham, Jr., 83, of Rogersville passed away Saturday, April 12th, 2014 at ECM Hospital.
Visitation will be Monday, April 14th, 2014 from 6 – 8 at Rogersville Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the chapel with Reverend Kevin Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Harvey Cemetery with military honors.
Pallbearers will be John Ritter, Daniel Johnson, Morgan Grisham, Nathan Grisham, Wade Menefee, Jimmy White, Tim Haraway and Jimmy Roberson.
Mr. Grisham was a preceded in death by his parents, Pete & Tellie Grisham; infant daughter; grandson, Andrew Ryan Ritter; brother, Elvis; sisters, Lila, Grace, Mary, Dott and Corinne. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Sue Slaton Grisham; son, Henry Clay “Petey” (Dana) Grisham, III; daughters, Terri (Ronnie) Ritter and Rhonda (Chris) Johnson; grandchildren, John (Lauren) Ritter, Daniel (Brooke) Johnson, Katherine (Wade) Menefee, Katelyn Johnson, Morgan, Callie & Nathan Grisham; sister, Peggy Springer; numerous nieces, nephews and three great-grandchildren expected this year.
He was retired from Reynolds Metal Company, a veteran of the United States Army serving in the Korean War, a member of VFW Post #5846 and the American Legion.
