MONTGOMERY – Alabama is once again in the running for a national title — and this time,
it’s not on the gridiron or the hardwood. The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency (ALEA) is
competing in the American Association of State Troopers’ (AAST) Best-Looking Cruiser
Contest, and we need your help to win!
Our entry features Governor Kay Ivey and Miss America 2025, Abbie Stockard — both proudly
representing Sweet Home Alabama — flanked by an iconic Trooper Tahoe and a sleek ALEA
Camaro. With this all-star lineup, we’re asking everyone to join our team and vote so we can
bring home another national title.
“This annual contest is a fun way to engage in friendly competition with our fellow state
agencies for a good cause,” said ALEA Secretary Hal Taylor. “We are grateful to Governor Ivey,
who has always been a strong supporter of law enforcement, and Miss Abbie Stockard who
represents the State of Alabama with grace and poise, for being special guests in this year’s
photo.”
Voting is simple and starts TODAY:
Visit the official Survey Monkey link to vote HERE.
Find Alabama’s photo (Camaro + Tahoe + Governor Ivey + Miss America = easy to spot!)
Scroll to the bottom cast your vote from the dropdown menu.
Answer the second Captcha question and click done to submit.
Share with friends and family to help spread the word!
Voting runs through July 11. The winner will be presented with the “Best Looking Cruiser
Award” and featured on the cover of the AAST’s “America’s Best Looking Trooper Cruisers
2026 Wall Calendar.” The calendars will be available for purchase at www.statetroopers.org
beginning October 1, 2025. Calendar sales will benefit the AAST Foundation, which provides
educational scholarships to dependents of member troopers.
