Private graveside service for Helen Priscilla Brown, age 78, of Decatur, was Monday, April 2, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Michael Gunter officiating.
Mrs. Brown was born July 4, 1939, in Morgan County, to the late Joseph Alva Gomes and Ruby Leigh Callahan Gomes. She was preceded in death by one son, Douglas Steven Childers.
She is survived by her husband, Garland K. Brown; one son, David Allen Childers; one stepdaughter, Daphane Brown Haley (Barry); and two grandchildren.
