Helen Payne, age 44 of Houston, passed away Saturday, August 29, 2026 at Baptist Health Walker Medical Center in Jasper. Helen was born June 13, 1982. She loved going to her church at The Rock Smith Lake Campus. Helen loved reading her bible, watching Law and Order, and spending time with her family and friends, especially during get togethers. Family will hold a private Celebration of Life. Helen is survived by her father, Malcolm Payne; mother, Charlotte Higgins; brothers, Derrick Payne and Matt Payne; son, Cayden Harris; and daughter, Madison Harris. She was preceded in death by her grandmothers, Helen Ergle Clark; great grandmother, Nellie Motes Ergle; and grandparents, Speedy and Ona Mae Payne.
